Everyone knows about Joy Alukkas, the world's most loved jeweller and ranked 50th by Forbes, but when I read Joy Sir's autobiography, though I was struck by the growth of the company, which climbed the ladder of business success step by step, what really made me think deeply and brought tears to my eyes, was when I went through the story of the son (Joy Alukkas) who followed his father's footsteps from childhood, lived as his father's faithful servant, devoted all his childhood energy to his father, and loved his father as much as his own life.  

Joy Sir in his autobiography ‘Spreading Joy’ has described the inner conflicts and silent messages between father and son in a very beautiful and touching way. Joy Sir's undying love and passion for his father can be understood when he says that his world was only his father during his childhood.

In his last days, when he was sitting helplessly by his ailing father, and when the inevitable fate took him away from him, the son did not cry, but vowed to bring his father's dream and breathing brand, Alukkas, to the end of the world.  Not to forget the philanthropic work started by his father, which then became a part of his lifestyle.
